Two weeks ago something happened that nobody ever wants to go through.

We woke up at 2 AM with our alarms blasting and saying fire, fire, fire. We were very fortunate that the fire was confined to a small area in a bedroom. The next morning SERVPRO STL central came out and they brought large machines to start taking the smoke out of the air. Soon they came in with other teams. They had teams to assess the damage they had teams to remove the damage and they had a cleaning team come in. You know with a fire you have a lot of smoke and that smoke drops soot over everything. The cleaning team cleaned the ceiling, the floors, the walls the furniture the books, pictures everything. And made it look good again! The cleaning materials they were using made everything smell good.

The thing about the teams is that they are all kind, courteous and respectful. The cleaning team was diligent and efficient. And we had special need concern, and they were very sensitive to it.

I highly recommend SERVPRO STL Central; they are there for you when you are in a difficult situation. They are professional and they do job right.

On December 8th, 2016, Missouri University of Science and Technology experienced a fire on the roof of Emerson Hall, the electrical and computer engineering building. Without hesitation, the SERVPRO disaster Recovery Team was on site to help assess the damage and guide the Facilities Management staff through the recovery process. 

The cooperation and team effort between all parties involved proved to e successful as the recovery effort of roughly 86,000 sq.ft. was completed in a 6 week period, allowing the University to partially open the facility on time for the Spring semester.

The highly trained and very professional SERVPRO staff went above and beyond their job responsibilities to ensure that all areas of the facility were cleaned and repaired to the satisfaction of Southeast Missouri State. The job performance and attention to detail by the SERVPRO staff exceeded the expectation of their slogan "Like it never happened."

On behalf of Missouri S&T, the faculty, staff and student, we would like to thank SERVPRO for the excellent job done to ensure that Emerson Hall was restored to its original state, allowing the University to open the doors in the short time frame required. 

I had my choice of fire restoration teams to help with the cleanup of the fire in my home earlier this month. Not having been through this before or knowing which company to use, I consulted with friends and family and the unanimous answer was SERVPRO. After working with you for the past two weeks, I understand why. From the first day (my walk through with Hank) to my final day, I was the priority. Each day, Tommy, Megann, Matt, Paula and Kellie worked hard and efficiently and always with a smile. In addition, I was very happy with the level of expertise and, especially, communication between all SERVPRO members, my insurance company and myself. On July 15, 2013, Southeast Missouri State University experiences the unthinkable, a fire at Dempster Hall, home to the Donald L, Harrison College of Business. Without hesitation, the SERVPRO Disaster Recovery Team was on site to help assess the damage  and guide the Facilities Management staff through the recovery process.

SERVPRO, with guidance from the Facilities Management staff, hired local sub-contractors to assist with the recovery effort. The cooperation and team effort between all parties involved proved to be successful as the recovery effort of roughly 117,000 sq.ft. was completed in a 6 week period, allowing the University to open the facility on time for Fall Semester.
